About Javita

With more than 12 years of experience across behavioral health, trauma-informed care, and community-based services, Javita is dedicated to supporting BIPOC, Desi, West Indian, Caribbean, and first-generation clients as they navigate trauma, anxiety, identity exploration, and major life transitions.

Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive, integrating trauma-informed, strengths-based, relational, and cognitive-behavioral practices to help clients build clarity, emotional grounding, and self-trust. She is deeply committed to creating a space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered in their healing.

Outside of her clinical work, Javita loves traveling, discovering new bookstores and farmers’ markets, searching for the best chai and local food, and spending time with her family.
